How to Get a TANF-funded Cal Grant A or B?

There are two types of grants in TANF California, Cal A and B. Cal A pays your tuition fee for 4 years. But Cal B is more focused on living costs. It covers your stipend of the first year and provides money for living expenses also.

Note: If a child has more than a specific number of unexcused absences, the “Adult Portion” of the TANF grant may be sanctioned (reduced).
